This weekend will be the final weekend of our End-of-Summer 20% off Sale with all wines (even fine wines!) reduced. So don't miss out! We are open 'til 8pm tomorrow, then 10am-6pm on Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sunday. The discount is on wines currently on the shelves and does not apply to special orders. It will also no longer apply to Beers and Spirits as the old stock has been cleared and new autumn stock is arriving.

Our next producer tasting will be on Friday 19th Sept when with Ian Latchford from Chalker's Crossing wines in New South Wales. For those of you who don't already know, Ian is the son of Peter and Ann latchford who started Frithsden Vineyard. Ian left to gain experience in Australia and now sells Chalkers Crossing wines all over the world.

At last, Summer's here!! Just in case it lasts longer than one day, I thought we should have some appropriate wines open for tasting this weekend. So, if you're thinking of risking a BBQ or just fancy lazing around in the garden, call in tomorrow, Saturday or Sunday and try a few of our "slightly warmer weather" wines.

Just arrived this month - we have received a shipment from the tiny estate of Tenuta La Volta, run by the Cabutto family, whose Barolo is making a great name for itself around the world.

We will be holding a tutored tasting of Chablis with the export director from Pascal Bouchard and Romain Bouchard (his son's domaine) on Wednesday 25th June when he is making a flying visit to the UK.

Our next tasting will be on June 13th when we will be showing the wines of the Tindall Estate from NZ and the Stanton and Killeen Muscats from Australia.

On June 27th Derek Smedley MW will be talking us through the wines of Warden Abbey. This a rare opportunity to taste some older vintages of quality English wine.
